We are practising Karateka, albeit not as much as we did in our earlier days.
We have been students, instructors, and competitors starting out in the mid 1970s! We continue to enjoy our martial art as we expand our understanding of the finer points, learning more about the background and approach to the various and diverse martial arts.
We have been privileged to have had the opportunity to train with many of the great instructors and masters of the martial arts world both in the UK and many from abroad - in particular Japan. We have taken advantage of training with various schools and styles from Japanese/Okinawan Karate, Chinese Kempo/Kung Fu, as well as Ju-Jitsu forms. There is always something new to learn even in areas we thought we were well versed.
With the wealth of experience we have acquired over the years we believe we understand the needs of the dedicated Martial Artist and through Aregato we aim to deliver quality products and valuable information. This is not just a business - its what we do and enjoy!
